Two more police officers were infected with the coronavirus disease, bringing the total count of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases for police personnel to 27. | CMarquezINQ
Citing data from the Philippine National Police Health Service, PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac said Saturday that the new cases of COVID-19 involved a 52-year-old policeman assigned in Metro Manila, and a 34-year-old policewoman.Meanwhile, the PNP Health Service also documented two new recoveries in the police force which involved PNP Patient-2 who is a policeman aged 31 from Manila and 55-year-old policeman from Quezon City.
This brings the total number of recoveries to four. The infected PNP personnel were discharged from their respective health centers.
