THE two low pressure areas inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility have dissipated, leaving only the shear line and the northeast monsoon, locally known as 'amihan', affecting the entire country, the state-run weather agency said on Wednesday.Weather forecaster Patrick del Mundo of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration told The Manila Times that it would be generally fair weather in the coming days.
However, Pagasa said the shear line – the point where the cold and warm air converge – is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.Specifically, Pagasa said the weather system is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Calabarzon , Bicol Region, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan and Aurora.
