Councilor Marvin Ong here identified them as Armando Mostoles, 66, and his grandson, Melvin Allagao, 16, residents of Barangay Apatot, this town.
The two fishermen went fishing on the West Philippine Sea on Thursday, June 29, but failed to return home the same day after their fishing boat had mechanical malfunction.They spent three nights and four days at sea before fishermen from Barangay Apatot led by Celso Quarte rescued them 33 nautical miles west of this town.They were taken to the rural health unit for medical checkup and documentation after they were rescued.
