Two elderly individuals were found dead at a river in Abra and Pangasinan .In Abra , a 72-year-old man found dead at the Baay River after falling reportedly into the water while intoxicated, afternoon on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.The victim was identified as Raymund Sales.According to police, a local resident discovered the body caught in a fish fence in the middle of the river.Investigations revealed that Sales was last seen intoxicated at his home on Monday, September 2.
According to her relatives, De Guzman often liked to walk, but they never expected she would end up in the river.De Guzman's family believe that she fell into the driver and drowned.Joel De Guzman, the victim's relative, shared his last memory with her."Sabi lang sakin, dahil nakahiga na siya, sabi lang niya, 'Salamat.' Yun ang huling sabi niya. Hindi ko naman inaasahan na ganun ang mangyayari," he said.
