The Bureau of Immigration arrested on June 19 two Chinese fugitives wanted for serious crimes in separate operations in the cities of Pasay and Parañaque.The BI said 43-year-old Zhu Tingyun and 30-year-old Wang Yun hid in the country to evade prosecution for years, and their passports were revoked by the Chinese government.
Zhu has an outstanding order for deportation issued by the BI in 2023.Meanwhile, Wang is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by the Public Security Bureau in Jinjiang City. for alleged involvement in kidnapping.Zhu was apprehended at his residence in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque, while Wang was nabbed on Metrobank Avenue, Pasay.
