CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – Two beaches in the Mimaropa have been named among the World’s 50 Best Beaches this year.
BONBON Beach in Romblon and Entalula Beach in El Nido, Palawan were among the World’s 50 Best Beaches for 2024. The DOT-Mimaropa said the crystal-clear waters and pristine sands enabled Bonbon Beach to earn the coveted spot and captivate judges of the World’s 50 Best Beaches. The 2024 World's Top 50 Beaches list is curated by an international panel of travel experts and takes into consideration specific criteria such as uniqueness, accessibility, not-too-crowded surrounding, calmness of the water and with soundtrack of nature, hearing only the sounds of the ocean and nature.
The DOT-Region 4-B said that with Bonbon Beach’s entry into this exclusive list, the region is poised to welcome a surge of international visitors seeking serene and unspoiled beach destinations.
