An 18-year-old and two minors were arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies in Pasig and Rizal.
According to Emil Sumangil’s report in 24 Oras on Friday, the suspects were caught on CCTV robbing a convenience store in Pasig and a gasoline station in Taytay.The suspects were seen holding the store cashier at gunpoint in Barangay Maybunga.Pasig Police Chief Celerino Sacto said the store’s security guard was also held at gunpoint by the suspects who took his gun.
The Pasig City Police Follow-up Unit and the Special Weapons and Tactics Team arrested the 18-year-old suspect in his residence at Barangay Pinagbuhatan. Meanwhile, the members of the Rizal Police were able to nab the two minor suspects after their neighbor complained about them for firing a gun.
