A 17-year-old boy was killed by six policemen in Navotas City after they allegedly mistook him for a suspect.
According to Nico Waje's report on "Saksi," Jemboy Baltazar was on his way to fish when he was shot and killed by Navotas City policemen in Barangay NBBS Kaunlaran.
A friend who was with Jemboy said they were preparing their boat at noon on August 2 when a policeman ordered them to get off.It was at this point that Jemboy dove into the water where he was further shot at. The authorities said they were looking for a suspect in a shooting which happened in the barangay earlier in the day.A complaint for homicide has been filed against the six policemen in the operation.
