BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte – Caraga Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) Regional Director Brig. Gen. Gilberto DC Cruz on Tuesday ordered the arrest of suspects who allegedly molested, raped then killed a 17-year-old girl Monday dawn at Purok 5, Barangay 9, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte province.

“The suspects must be arrested to answer the crime they committed,” said Brig. Gen. Cruz, in his directive. At about 3:50 a.m., a scene of the crime team from PRO 13 was able to recover a white shirt about 20 meters away from the victim’s body. “About 1 a.m. on Saturday, 5 unidentified male minors forcibly grabbed the victim and brought her to the dark portion of the crime scene more less 70 to 80 meters from their drinking spree,” Buenavista initial report said.
