“Our Filipino seafarers are now in the care of our Philippine Embassy in Muscat, Oman and will be reunited with their loved ones in the Philippines very soon,” saad sa pahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nitong Huwebes.
Inagaw ng mga rebelde ang barko noong Nobyembre 2023 at dinala sa port of Hodeidah na bahagi ng Yemen na kontrolado ng Houthi. Sa harap nito, binigyan-diin ni Marcos ang kahalagahan ng Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga tripolanteng Pinoy.
