Police arrested 17 persons, five of them minors, for violating the curfew in separate enhanced community quarantine operations on Wednesday night in the towns of Polangui and Rapu-rapu in Albay. | msarguellesINQ
The police report said the suspects were arrested during police ECQ patrols implementing the eight-hour curfew in place against the spread of coronavirus in barangays Sugcad, Gabon, and Ponso at 9:50 p.m. in Polangui town and Barangay Poblacion in the island town of Rapu-rapu.
In Polangui, the suspects caught loitering in the vicinity of their respective barangays were Dennis Sepulvida, 46, and Nestor Leoncito of Ponso; Kevin Bernaldez, 25, Bernard Corteza, 20, Andy Manalo, 19, and Marlon Almojano, 36, all of Gabon; and Rogie Edward Mora, 32, of Sugcad.
