Some 158 residents of Kampung Salarom Baru Mosopoh here were moved to the Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) at the SIB Church in the village after their houses were hit by floods at midnight, Thursday.
The three rivers, Mosopoh, Panawan and Pamuntarian were flooded following the heavy rain that fell since Thursday evening and the PPS was opened at 12.30am Friday to accommodate the flood victims.The evacuees consist of 38 Heads of Household , five and seven elderly men and women respectively, disabled men , adult men , adult women , boys , girls , two baby boys and two baby girls.
