MUAR, March 30 — The police will weigh all possibilities, including negligence, as part of their investigations into the deaths of four children in a house fire in Kampung Sabak Awor here late last night.
He said once the reports have been received, an investigation paper will be prepared and sent to the public prosecutor’s office. “However, based on initial investigations, police have not ruled out the possibility that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the kitchen, pending further examination,” said Raiz Mukhliz when met by reporters at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital’s forensic department today.
