Based on the latest COVID-19 bulletin from the Department of Health in Central Visayas , the city only registered three new recoveries on Sunday.A total of 279 additional COVID-19 cases were recorded in Central Visayas on January 9. DOH-7 said 2,230 samples were tested on that day.The rest of the newly confirmed patients were from Cebu province ; Lapu-Lapu City ; Mandaue City ; Bohol and Negros Oriental .
