MANILA, Philippines — Almost a week after Severe Tropical Storm 'Kristine' wreaked havoc in the country, its effects are still being felt in at least seven regions, particularly in the Bicol Region, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

MANILA, Philippines — Almost a week after Severe Tropical Storm 'Kristine' wreaked havoc in the country, its effects are still being felt in at least seven regions, particularly in the Bicol Region, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways .

Aside from roads, there are also three national bridges that are impassable due to scoured bridge approach, washed-out bridge and collapsed bridge. They are located in Valley, Calabarzon and Bicol.Also, nine national road sections have limited access due to road slip, scoured RCPC, washed-out surfacing materials, collapsed pavement, and flooding. They are in the Cordillera Autonomous Region , two in Calabarzon and six in Bicol.
