Eleven activists were allegedly arrested during a protest action in Cabuyao, Laguna against the controversial Anti-Terrorism Act, a youth group claims

Kabataan Partylist Laguna said its secretary-general Marife Valdeavilla was among those apprehended in Barangay Pulo while holding a"peaceful" protest rally against the law which the President signed on Friday.

The group claimed that suspected members of the military approached and arrested the protesters as they were about to leave the protest area. CNN Philippines has reached out to the military and police for comment.
