MAYNILA - Patay ang isang lalaking rider habang sugatan naman ang isa pa sa magkasunod na aksidente sa Quirino Highway sa Novaliches, Quezon City nitong Miyerkoles ng hatinggabi.

Ayon kay Wilson Araño, safety officer ng Brgy. San Bartolome, maghahatinggabi nang sumalpok ang isang motorsiklo sa isang poste sa nasabing kalsada.

Sa lakas ng pagkakatama ay tumilapon ang hindi pa nakikilalang rider at tumama ang kanyang ulo sa poste. Bagamat may helmet ay nagtamo pa rin siya ng matinding pinsala sa ulo. Agad sinugod sa ospital ang rider pero binawian rin ng buhay. Ayon sa mga nakakita sa aksidente, may mahinang pag-ulan sa lugar at mabilis umano ang takbo ng rider.

Naipit naman ang paa ng isang lalaking driver matapos sumalpok ang minamanehong kotse sa hilera ng mga concrete barriers sa parehong lugar.Agad naman dinala sa ospital ang driver para malapatan ng paunang lunas.Paalala ng awtoridad sa mga motorista, doble-ingat sa pagmamaneho lalo na tuwing umuulan para iwas sa disgrasya.
