ILOILO CITY — More than 1,900 members of the Philippine National Police and other law enforcement agencies were deployed to secure the 45th MassKara Festival in Bacolod City, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) said on Monday.
ILOILO CITY — More than 1,900 members of the Philippine National Police and other law enforcement agencies were deployed to secure the 45th MassKara Festival in Bacolod City, the Police Regional Office 6 said on Monday.PRO-6 figures showed that the security personnel include 1,199 officers from the Philippine National Police, 330 from other law enforcement agencies, 230 force multipliers and 100 rescue team members.
The squad, composed of 16 drone operators, will be monitoring the festival by taking real-time aerial footage.'We will deploy these drones to monitor our activity areas and we can check them in our operation center real-time,' Wanky said.He added that the drones will be strategically placed in locations where traffic convergence has been recorded during past festivities.'The drones will also help PRO-6 respond immediately to emergencies,' Wanky added.
