LUCENA CITY, Quezon – One-thousand, seven-hundred residents of Barangay Dalahican here benefited from financial assistance under the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation totaling P5.2 million facilitated by House Deputy Speaker Quezon Rep. David C. Suarez over the weekend.

HOUSE Deputy Speaker David C. Suarez and wife Alona party-list Rep. Anna V. Suarez distributed financial assistance under the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation program to 1,700 beneficiaries from Barangay Dalahican at the covered court of Barangay Cotta in Lucena City over the weekend.

Two-hundred five college students received educational assistance totaling P1.125 million through the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 4-A at Saint Anne College Gymnasium.Meanwhile, Suarez warned barangay officials here who prevent their constituents from using public facilities for public events.

“Instead of saving some money because you no longer have to ride a tricycle coming here, you have to spend precious money,” Suarez said.
