The government is still optimistic that it can reach its 1.5 million daily inoculation target starting next month, ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
on Wednesday, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. expressed confidence in this new goal after local governments agreed to scale up their vaccination rate.
He noted that administering booster shots and third doses for the priority sector will also start next month.
