The new Asus Zenbook 15 OLED is a 15.6-inch laptop designed around performance and style.
Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7 7735U processor, this compact and lightweight laptop aims to meet the demands of on-the-go productivity and creativity. The Asus Zenbook 15 OLED features a thin profile of just 14.9mm and a weight of 1.4kg. While it might be heavier than the Acer Swift Go 3 that we reviewed recently, Asus has also designed this to meet US MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards, adding another useful feather to its cap.
The centrepiece is a 15.6-inch 16:9 2.8K OLED NanoEdge display that boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.2 ms response time. It is also Pantone Validated for accurate colour rendering and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, promising deep blacks and excellent contrast ratio. The vibrant screen is matched with a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos speaker system for as good an entertainment experience as you can get from a laptop.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7735U is equivalent to an Intel Core i7 series processor and is supported by 16 GB of RAM and a speedy 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The WiFi 6E module is supported by Asus' WiFi Master Premium enhancement while the FHD IR webcam is supplemented with Asus 3D Noise Reduction technology for cleaner visuals. And for those concerned about hygiene, the Zenbook 15 OLED is equipped with Asus Antimicrobial Guard Plus, which reduces the growth of viruses and bacteria by up to 99 per cent.
The Asus Zenbook 15 OLED is priced at $2,098 and is available at the Asus Exclusive Store, Asus Online Store, and authorised retailers. Customers will receive a free Rains Backpack worth $150 with every purchase of the Asus Zenbook 15 OLED, while stocks last.
