Beijing is still yet to join other nations in officially condemning the invasion and NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg said China's relationship with Russia meant the 12-point policy could not be taken seriously. Russia is expected to launch an aggressive spring offensive with further attacks to regain control of the war that has waged on longer than President Putin would have expected.
