The Zeekr X is now open for booking in Malaysia. With indicated pricing of RM180,000 and below, this compact EV competes against the Smart #1 and Volvo EX30.
According to Zeekr Malaysia, the Zeekr X Compact SUV is indicated to be priced at RM180,000 and below. Malaysian buyers can now secure their unit by placing a booking fee of. Both models are offered in 5 exterior colours – Crystal White, Mist Grey, Grid Grey, Palace Beige and Pine Green, along with interior options of Charcoal Black and Stone Grey.The range-topping Flagship AWD features two motors that produce 422hp and it can get from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
Both versions are equipped with a 66kWh battery and it supports 150kW DC fast charging. According to Zeekr Malaysia, both EVs can charge from 10-80% in 30 minutes. If these figures sound familiar, the Zeekr X is built on the same Geely-developed SEA platform that’s utilised by Smart and Volvo’s new compact EVs.
In terms of safety, the Zeekr X has received 5-star Euro NCAP and Green NCAP ratings.
