Menteri Kesihatan Dr Zaliha Mustafa mengadakan pertemuan dengan Persatuan Perubatan Malaysia , semalam, bagi menjelaskan keputusan kerajaan mengecualikan nikotin daripada Akta Racun.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika pertemuan dengan MMA, semalam, untuk menjelaskan pendirian kerajaan berhubung perkara tersebut, kata Presiden MMA, Dr Muruga Raj Rajathurai. Kerajaan mesti menunjukkan kesungguhan komitmennya terhadap dasar generasi penamat bertujuan menghalang penjualan dan penggunaan sebarang bentuk rokok, termasuk rokok elektronik, dan produk vape kepada individu lahir selepas 1 Jan 2007, katanya.
