Zahid, Ismail, Hishammuddin calon TPM Umno?

Majoriti ahli Parlimen Umno mahu presiden Ahmad Zahid Hamidi mengisi jawatan itu namun antara nama lain disebut termasuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob dan Hishammuddin Hussein. FMTNews UMNO TPM

Walaupun majoriti ahli Parlimen Umno dikatakan menyokong Ahmad Zahid Hamidi bagi jawatan itu, ada spekulasi beliau mungkin mendatangkan risiko kerana perbicaraannya yang sedang berlangsung.

Majoriti 39 ahli Parlimen Umno dikatakan berpihak kepada ahli Parlimen Bagan Datuk itu dan mahu beliau mengambil semula jawatan timbalan perdana menteri sebagai sebahagian daripada “syarat baharu” Umno kerana terus menyokong kerajaan PN. Terdapat spekulasi Zahid mungkin dilihat sebagai risiko, sementara sumber itu tidak mahu mengulas mengenai presiden, menyatakan Ismail dilihat sebagai “wajar dan berkecuali”.

“Keputusannya mungkin tidak mewakili suara Umno. Ahli Parlimen melihat pelbagai faktor sebelum membuat keputusan,” katanya sambil menambah mereka mahu seorang ahli Parlimen yang diterima oleh semua. Tidak diketahui bila senarai akhir pilihan Umno bagi jawatan timbalan perdana menteri itu akan diserahkan.
