Detectives are applying to extradite a Goulburn man from Western Australia, after two teenage women were allegedly followed and physically and sexually assaulted in the regional NSW town. 9News MORE:
A young woman was thrown to the ground and knocked unconscious before an alleged sexual assault on the streets of a regional New South Wales town.
A 19-year-old was grabbed, hurled to the ground, punched repeatedly in the face and sexually assaulted once she passed out after being approached by a stranger with a scruffy beard on Bourke Street about 11pm on Friday, police allege. Police investigating the allegations are probing if the attack was linked to the assault of an 18-year-old woman on April 5.
Police are hoping the CCTV images taken on Friday could help a member of the public identify the man.
