Each athlete may enter up to four individual events at Sudbury regional track meet, with those in the U16 and U18 categories eligible to quality for provincial championships
A provincial track and field meet organized by the Legion is back in full swing and organizers are hoping young athletes from the Sault will take part in the district qualifying event, set to take place in Sudbury on June 24.
Entry fees of $5 per event are due with registration at the Legion office before the event, or when registering at the track to get your competition number.Athletes must provide their own transportation to Sudbury. While the local branch is unable to provide funding for travel, it says it will pay/reimburse registration fees.
