Melanie Ting and Ravinder Singh are among the 570 candidates contesting the state assembly elections in six states.
Bukit Antarabangsa has been held by Azmin Ali since 2008. A former PKR deputy president, Azmin is now with Bersatu and is contesting in Hulu Kelang as a PN candidate. He was re-elected to the seat in 2018 with a majority of more than 25,500. Pantai Jerejak has been held since 2008 by a PKR candidate standing on a PKR or PH ticket. It was last held by PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who won in 2018 with a majority of more than 10,700 votes.
