The Human Society of Durham Region wants to know if you have room in your heart for a furry friend this Valentine’s Day.Officials say rabbits tend to be adopted slower compared to dogs and cats, but they make great companions and are actually very social animals.
“If you’re looking for a hunny-bunny, rabbits are adorable and bond closely with their adopters. They can be easily trained and have unique personalities,” said Shannon Stephenson, Interim Manager, Humane Society of Durham Region. “We’re hoping you’ll find it in your heart to help these bunnies in need by giving them a loving forever home.”
The humane society is reminding any potential adopters that rabbits are a lifetime commitment and you should do your homework before making a final decision to adopt. If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
