A Greens MP was given a lesson on Question Time procedure by Speaker Milton Dick after pressing the Prime Minister about the 'destruction' of a school and park for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

Max Chandler-Mather, who won the inner south Brisbane seat of Griffith from Labor at last May's Federal Election, quizzed Mr Albanese during Question Time on Thursday about the"destruction" of a local school and park ahead of the 2032 games.

Max Chandler-Mather raised a point of order in Question Time on Thursday as he pressed Anthony Albanese on the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. The pair unveiled a $7 billion agreement outlining the ways Brisbane 2032 games infrastructure will be funded by the Commonwealth and state governments. The state government has also committed to ensuring the school's heritage buildings are"refurbished and repurposed and integrated into the operations of the Gabba".

The Prime Minister said the arena is about providing a venue for Australians that will be used not just for the Olympics but for decades to come.
