Yayasan Sabah Group reaffirmed its commitment towards impactful forest research in Danum Valley, Friday, by signing the eighth-quinquennial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the South East Asia Rainforest Research Partnership (SEARRP).

Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Abidin Madingkir said the research, conducted under the Danum Valley Rainforest Research and Training Programme, would continue to contribute to scientific advancements. He said it would also contribute to the development of effective mitigation strategies in addressing challenges and threats posed by climate change.
