This was confirmed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on Twitter, who also shared a poster for the Mix Fold 3 announcement. The event next week is part of Lei Jun’s annual speech and will be streamed online at 7pm GMT +8 on 14 August.
The poster also showed glimpses of the foldable smartphone design, including its thin dimensions. You can also see the Mix Fold 3’s quad-camera setup on the poster, as well as the Leica branding on the side. In a separate Twitter post, Lei Jun shared official renders of the Mix Fold 3, including a variant in a beige colour. The Xiaomi CEO added that if he could describe the device in 3 words, it'll be slim, elegant, and premium.Lei Jun claims that the Mix Fold 3 “defines a new standard for foldable display” and we definitely can’t wait to find out more about the device next week!
