The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra have been officially launched, with a local launch coming early next month as well. No mention of a Pro variant though.
Earlier in the month, it was announced that the Xiaomi 14 and its Ultra variant would get its international launch over the weekend. And as promised, that was what happened, as part of the MWC 2024 showcase. The latter also got a launch in its local market a couple of days beforehand, while the former had the veil lifted off of it in October last year.
In case you missed that one, the Xiaomi 14 comes with a 6.36-inch LTPO 1,200 x 2,680 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240 touch sampling rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Inside, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage. The battery is rated at 4,610mAh, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for the recently announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra, has a slightly larger screen, being a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a higher resolution at 3,200 x 1,440. Other aspects of the display is similar, from the 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate to the 3,000 nits peak brightness. It also shares the same chipset as the base model, but it only has one RAM and storage configuration, at 16GB + 512GB.
