DCN-JOC News ServicesMONTREAL — WSP Canada Inc. has hired Amir Abd El Halim as the new Regional Leader for the Ontario and Atlantic region.
In his role, he will focus on fostering collaboration between WSP’s sectors and regions to drive growth and deliver services to clients working alongside Sebastien Fecteau in the Quebec Region and Peter Hatcher in the western region and territories.
Most recently, he was the SVP of operations for Englobe, following a 17-year career at Stantec. He started as an engineer in training and progressed up to the vice-president and regional leader for Ontario, a position which he held until 2021. Abd El Halim holds a bachelor of engineering and a master’s of civil engineering from Carleton University, as well as a PhD in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo.
