Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development has confirmed that a worker was fatally injured on a jobsite in Brantford, Ont. last week.
The workplace was the site of the new Barry Callebaut chocolate factory on Bowery Road. The ministry previously reported the worker was working in the electrical room on Aug. 6 when the injury occurred, and the worker later succumbed to their injury.Two ministry inspectors were immediately assigned and inspected the site, issuing a requirement to G.S. Wark.One requirement was issued to the owner Barry Callebaut Canada Inc.; one requirement was issued to G.S.
