Project coordinator Elize Kluyts, who is Boksburg Advertiser's advertising manager, said a donations of wool and knitted and crocheted items are flowing in.
“We're extremely thankful to the public for opening their hearts to those in need by making contributions towards the annual project again. Their support and donations will go a long way,” she said. One of the community members who threw her weight behind the initiative is Yvonne Pohl , a resident of Cosmos Old Age Home.Wool donations will help the Advertiser support various local groups that knit teddies and other items for distribution to the Cancer Association of SA and organisations that look after the underprivileged, especially in winter.
All qualities, quantities and textures are welcome.
