PETALING JAYA: Two competitors suffered “health issues” during the swimming leg of the Ironman Langkawi race this morning.Langkawi police chief Shariman Ashari said the other person, a man, suffered from a “health issue” during the event but recovered.Separately, at the same event, a spectator fell from an unspecified height and suffered head injuries, Shariman said. The man was treated and discharged.
He said 120 officers and men have been deployed throughout the event to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
