Woman's suspicious death on the 500 block of 17th Avenue is being investigated by Prince George RCMP Saturday.
Prince George RCMP got a call just before 1 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 that reported the death of a woman in a residence on the 500 block of 17th Avenue.
“The death is currently being treated as suspicious and the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP, said. “They are working alongside the B.C. Coroner Service, which is running a parallel investigation.”
Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious near the residence or who may know who frequents the residence to contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300. This file remains under investigation.
