A man has been arrested after a woman died at a property in Melbourne's north-east. 9News

The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, was found after police attended the property on John Street in Lilydale about 5.30pm last night.The woman, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

A 46-year-old Lilydale man is currently assisting detectives with their enquiries.
