Woman claims a local TikTok influencer asked for RM1,800 fee to make her dad’s restaurant go viral

The woman said her father – a restaurant owner in Melaka – was approached by an individual claiming to be ‘TikTok famous’.

Alinkiwi said her father agreed to let the individual review the restaurant, however, he changed his mind after the individual asked him to pay RM1,800 as a review fee. Alinkiwi went on to say that she has had enough of individuals trying to fool her father, whom she described as elderly. Alinkiwi’s video has gotten more than 960,000 views on TikTok, where most users have asked her to reveal the name of the ‘TikTok famous’ person who asked for the restaurant review fee.
