A Queensland woman busted committing an offence behind the wheel allegedly nominated pilot Ash Jenkinson who had died in the Sea World helicopter tragedy.

The Park Ridge woman, 33, was issued a fine by the Department of Transport and Mains Road on December 15 after she was caught with a phone in her hand.

Mr Jenkinson's fiancée Kosha Richardson-Johnson was stunned when she received the infringement notice on January 19 in the mail.The 33-year-old woman was tracked down where she admitted to fraudulently using Mr Jenkinson's name and his date of birth found in an online obituary. The father-of-one was killed alongside three of his passengers at Sea World earlier this year when two helicopters collided mid-air.
