THUNDER BAY – A Kasabonika Lake woman faces multiple charges after allegedly threatening a group of children with a knife on Picton Avenue.Police officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving a weapon in the 200 block of the north side street just after 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the Thunder Bay Police Service stated in a release.
A TBPS spokesperson said the woman had made physical contact with an officer, but the interaction did not cause any injuries. Anderson allegedy approached the four children while holding an object that appeared to be a knife and, unprovoked, “began waving the knife toward the children before chasing them.”
