ALOR GAJAH: Melaka police have received a report in relation to a crocodile attack on a 65-year-old woman at Sungai Timun jetty in Lubok China.
Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu said the 24-year-old son of the victim had lodged the police report on Monday.
Supt Arshad said the incident happened at 4pm on Sept 1 when the victim, identified as Nurkaisa Ausad, was collecting prawns along Sungai Timun with a group of fishermen. Earlier, Duyong assemblyman Datuk Mohd Noor Helmy Abdul Halim said the woman went through a traumatic time after she was dragged by a saltwater crocodile along the banks of Sungai Timun.
