ICYMI: With 10-day strike in the rearview, a hopeful MUN faculty will vote on 'a historic' tentative agreement on Friday, Feb. 24 | SaltWire
The full agreement was distributed privately to members after a general meeting, but MUNFA did outline some of its key highlights. They include:
MUN abandoning its proposal for a two-tiered health plan after retirement. MUNFA called that a line it would not cross. No major concessions on what’s seen as a precarious situation for contractual positions, other than a month of paid preparation work, a signing bonus and two additional steps in pay scale. A joint committee will look into improved job security.
