Parents in Wisconsin are livid and say their daughters won\u0027t participate in a sport at their school if a transgender athlete is involved.
in Green Bay, the group of parents said their daughters were coming home from summer games and practices with welts and bruises. They said they’d never noticed these type of marks on their children before, the outlet reported.The parents declined to specify which sports and school is involved in the controversy, citing confidentiality concerns, but the school does belong to the Green Bay Area Public School District.
“They’re just not used to the ball coming at them that hard,” one parent, Ryan Gusick, said, adding, “A lot of these girls are specifically quitting this team because they’re concerned for their safety.”Article content
