According to Environment Canada, snow, with accumulations between seven and 14 centimetres, is expected to fall on the city, combine wiht northerly winds gusting between 60 and 70 kilometres per hour.

Reduced visibility and local blowing snow are also in the forecast, with possible flash freeze conditions. The low-pressure system bringing the winter weather is expected to arrive late Wednesday night, with rain transitioning to snow overnight or early Wednesday morning.
