Desbien, who’s been playing the lottery since she was 18 years old, says she never thought about how much money she could actually win during the in-store spin but when she saw it land on Big Spin she thought it was cool. “I had butterflies in my stomach when I arrived at the Prize Centre to spin the wheel,” Desbien told OLG.
“I loved seeing the wheel in person. I was genuinely happy to win $100,000 – I never expected to win the top prize. I thought it couldn’t be real when it landed on $500,000.”“He jumped up and gave me a big hug,” she told OLG.The Big Spin Instant game combines scratch play with prizes revealed in-store by an animated spinning wheel on the lottery terminal screen and potentially, an in-person spin on The Big Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
