A few hours after the Edson and area evacuation Friday, another order was issued for part of the Municipal District of Greenview due to wildfire threatening the Sweathouse area, about 150 kilometres east of Grande Prairie, which is roughly 458 km northwest of Edmonton. In response, the City of Edmonton activated the Emergency Operations Centre and set up an evacuee reception centre. The Reception Centre is located at the Edmonton Expo Centre at 7515-118 Avenue NW in Hall C.
