The 29-year-old paramedic had stopped for a meal break near the end of his shift and was finishing paperwork in the ambulance when the incident occurred. 7NEWS understands he was about to go on paternity leave for the birth of his second child with Madison. They intended to raise the family in southwestern Sydney after he recently landed a posting in the area.“Madison Tougher has asked us to announce the arrival of her and Steven’s daughter, Lily-Mae Stevie Tougher,” NSW Ambulance said.
Madison Tougher the widow of slain NSW paramedic Steven Tougher gave birth to their second child in May.“Madison and Lily-Mae, and big brother Kobi, are doing well and the extended family is very excited,” NSW Ambulance said.“She has respectfully requested privacy at this time and asks not be contacted by media.”
