A “bloody rocket” from 97-year-old shareholder Jack Poyner helped re-engage Marcus Blackmore with his eponymous company after the previous board froze him out.

Templeman-Jones, who is also a director the Commonwealth Bank, had been chairwoman of Blackmores since October 2020. In the November 25 announcement to the ASX on her departure, she said she wanted to concentrate on other things.
